Beaming with history, White Springs, known as "Florida's Original Tourist Destination," was once a bustling spa town attracting visitors far and wide to its sulphur spring. Prior to 1900, fourteen hotels catered to tourists who came by rail and steamboat to the springs.

Now an outdoor mecca for hikers, cyclists, and paddlers, White Springs earned its designation as the first Florida Trail Gateway Community with parts of the Florida Trail leading you directly through this quaint southern town. While here be sure to visit some of the historic landmarks that once hosted the likes of Teddy Rosevelt and Henry Ford.
